Aftercare
Your tattoo is part of you now — time to look after it so it heals as well as possible. This is the same simple, safe guide we send every client.
-
Clean hands, always
Wash your hands well before touching the tattoo. It's the best way to prevent infections.
-
Once a day
Daily cleaning
Gently clean the area with saline solution and a sterile gauze.
-
First 2 days
Dry cold
You can apply dry cold for 5 minutes, twice a day at most, without resting it directly on the skin. It reduces swelling and discomfort.
-
Keep the area dry
Avoid moisture, heavy sweating and covering it with plastic for long periods.
-
Don't touch or pick scabs
The skin has to regenerate on its own. If it peels or scabs, leave it be.
-
No extra products
No creams, oils, vaseline or make-up on the tattoo unless we tell you otherwise.
-
No sun or UV rays
Keep it out of direct sunlight. If you can't avoid it, use SPF 50+ sunscreen.
-
No beach, pool or sauna
Until the tattoo is fully healed.
-
Comfortable, loose clothing
Avoid tight clothes rubbing against the tattoo.
